Welcome to Christians United!

Christians United is a student group on the UNE Armidale campus. Our mission is to proclaim Jesus Christ at UNE, to present everyone mature in Him by evangelising, encouraging, training, and sending. We are affiliated with the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) and the St Mark's UNEchurch, the church on the UNE campus.

We run weekly events during Trimester 1 & 2 that are open to anyone, currently including:

• Bible Buffet: 11am - 12pm, outside CafeLife (if nice and sunny) or in the Bistro
  • In this event, we read through big chunks of the Bible over an hour and share our thoughts as we read! Think a fun book club, but with God's word
• Prayer Meeting: 8am - 9am, in the St Mark's UNEchurch building (73 Trevenna Road, Armidale NSW 2350)
  • At prayer meetings, we read the Bible and pray for our group, other AFES groups across Australia, missionaries and more
• CU Training Thursday: 7pm - 9pm, contact us if you are interested in coming to this event as it is located at the house of one of our members
• CU Training Friday: 12pm - 2pm, in the St Mark's UNEchurch Ministry Centre (73 Trevenna Road, Armidale NSW 2350)
  • At CU Trainings, we are trained in our knowledge of God and his word, the Bible. We often read books together, discuss "Hot Topics" which are relevant world issues that we discuss from a Christian perspective, and more!
  • Both CU Trainings go through the same content so feel free to come along to either Thursday or Friday (or both if you're super keen to meet more people!)

We also run heaps of exciting one-off events throughout the year such as:

• Text for a Toastie
• Bushdances
• Girls and Guys Events
• Music & Dessert Night
• Intensive Care
• and many more!!
